Terms of Use

Last updated: October 21, 2026

These terms apply when you use the Vaquita app or the Vaquita web page. Vaquita is provided by Nicolas Frugoni, trading as Frusoft ("we", "us"). By using Vaquita you agree to these terms. Please also read the Privacy Policy.

1. What Vaquita is

Vaquita helps a group organize a gift for someone: members suggest ideas, vote, one member buys the gift and everyone pays that person back. Vaquita is a tracker. It records who has paid and shows the buyer's payment details to the members of the gift.

2. Vaquita does not handle money

Vaquita never holds, processes or moves money and charges no fees. Payments happen outside the app, by bank transfer, Bizum, Venmo or any other method you choose.

3. Your account and information

Give accurate information, especially your name and payment details, and keep them up to date. You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you link Apple, Google or an email address, keep that sign-in secure.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Vaquita to:

What you add to a gift is visible to its members. We may remove content or suspend or delete accounts that break these rules. To report a problem or abusive content, email support@frusoft.dev with the gift link. We act on reports within 24 hours.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you add (ideas, notes, photos, receipts, screenshots). You give us a license to store it and display it to the members of the gift, only as needed to run the service. This license ends when the content or your account is deleted, except where the Privacy Policy explains that some data stays to keep other members' records correct.

6. The service

Vaquita is provided free of charge and "as is". We work to keep it available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features, or stop the service, and we will try to give notice of major changes.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Frusoft is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from payments, purchases or agreements between members. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using Vaquita and delete your account at any time (see Delete account). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can bring claims there.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and let you know in the app. If you keep using Vaquita after a change, the new terms apply.
